In her project 'Love Stories' Josien Vogelaar (1968) explores with video animations, text and drawings the terms love, eroticism and sexuality. Special One is the monography format of VisualcontainerTV videoart webtv.

Moreover we are glad to show the interview took at the last Vogelaar’s exhibition in Milan (Italy) at [.BOX] Videoart project space. This interview is focused on Vogelaar’s artworks and artistic background.

Josien Vogelaar (1968, The Hague, the Netherlands)
Vogelaar studied Painting and Drawing at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Visual Arts in Amsterdam.
She started making short animation films from 2007.
Her films are screened at several exhibitions and festivals in the Netherlands and abroad.

Her videoartworks are focused on the relationship between man and woman and on impossibile love.
Moreover Casdia explores with video animations and plastiline dolls, the feeling of loneliness and distance offered by a natural region or city life and the difficult to be woman in this world.

Rita Casdia (1977, Barcellona Pozzo di Grotto—Messina, Italia)

Rita Casdia was born in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (ME) in 1977.
She graduated at the prestigious Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo in the 2004. Afterwards she moved to Milan, where she continued her study at the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera and achieved a specialization in Project and Culture of New Art Technologies for cinema/video.
Her video works have taken part to numerous Festival and Reviews, among these: tina b, the Prague contemporary festival, Trieste Film Festival-Catodica, Videoart Yearbook Bologna, Fisheye, Roma, curated by Bruno Di Marino, TO FIND A VIDEO Castello di Rivara, Festival d’images artistique vidéo fiav09 curated by Mario Gorni, Filmmaker doc 14, 39° Festival du Nouveau Cinéma di Montreal.

VisualcontainerTV is glad to host a selection from 5th Edition of STREAMING FESTIVAL, International Videoart Festival from The Hague, he Netherlands.
The selection is presented on ExhibitContainer, a format that only shows International Videoart festivals and curatorial projects from all over the world.
The on-line exhibition will be simultaneous with the Festival's opening in THE HAGUE, to promote the best interaction between Italy and Netherlands on behalf of all videoart followers.

About the STREAMING FESTIVAL:
The Streaming Festival is an art event for independent artists exhibiting unconventional audiovisual art from all over the world. This event takes place once a year.
In addition to this, every month a video program is streamed on the festival website. These programs each have their own theme and concept and are composed by guest programmers and festival partners.
Anyone with an internet connection can plug into a festival stream from any location, at any given time and start watching contemporary art and films.
